Run + Sugar



Blahhhhh....breakfast was too sweet and too rich this morning!! The husband went overboard with the sugar-free syrup in the coffee and I went overboard with the oatmeal additives.

Had a banana before our run:



4.7 mile run in the dark - nice! ~400 calories burned.


Oatmeal with pear, milk, cinnamon, maple, honey, toasted almonds, and dried fruit bits:



With a Snickerdoodle coffee with foamed milk. I'm debating slowing down on the coffee every morning. I drink it because I love it, not because I need the caffine. But husband loves it for every reason, so he makes it and I have some.



Total breakfast calories: ~500

Thank you for your kind words, they are much appreciated. :) I'm the same way with coffee, i.e. I don't need it but I love it! For me though, my morning latte is a good source of protein and calcium - so I keep it.
