Friday, November 16

I Can't Believe It's Friday!

Husband and I slept 30 minutes in today because of last night being a late night and the fact that I'm working from home before the client cooking event so I didn't have to commute!

Pre-workout toast with PB and jam:

Workout:

Workout was 26 minutes elliptical (here on out this will be called ET!), 16 minutes treadmill running (while reading a magazine!!) and 15 minutes weight lifting. 426 calories burned! Tomorrow we'll do the 9 a.m. cycle class since I missed today's.

Breakfast:
We are FLAT OUT of food!!! I usually pick up a banana and apple from the dining hall but they were all out. My last resort: frozen fruit in oatmeal! Used tropical fruit (strawberries, pineapple, raspberries and mango) and didn't need anything to sweeten it either. It was good, but not as good as PB and walnuts :(

Along with Sugar Cookie Decaf Tea! Yum!

All together for 520 calories:

See you after I'm covered in biscuits and fried chicken!

Hoping to get a walk in this evening....

Good luck at the fried chicken event! You know, I was thinking about your post on Chapter 10 from Fit from Within, and there's just one problem. If I really never again ate any food I didn't truly enjoy--I would never eat another vegetable for the rest of my life! Embarrassing? Yes. But still true!

Elle,

I think her point is don't eat it if it's not prepared well (too cold, not cooked well, FAST FOOD!) but she doesn't mean not to try new foods or eat veggies!! Sorry, you're out of luck : )

P.S. Chicken went well
