10/26 is the Best Day Ever!!!

And oatmeal is the best breakfast ever. And I have the best husband, too!

Got up and had my usual english muffin with PB, then burned 470 calories in cycle!!! I don't know if I was extra pumped or something in my metabolism changed from last week, but my HR was in the 150s-160s the whole class! Great way to start a birthday :)

Came home and my special birthday breakfast requested changed from french toast to oatmeal. I just love a big bowl of oatmeal! Added pears, apple, almonds and maple syrup.

And we both had a delicious toffee hazelnut latte:

Breakfast calories: ~466. (And yes I'm counting today, just because I can)

Here are my gifts from the husband!!! 4 of these white plates from Crate and Barrel that I've wanted for months (they are tiny for things like fruit and toast), earrings from a local boutique, and Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume that he picked out. We both decided that we like the name Daisy for a baby girl too! (No, we're not having kids ANYTIME in the near future!) Although now that I'm 25.......30 is looming already!

I got a funny card from my parents that says:

"Hard Exercise Deserves Dessert......On second thought just skip the exercise!"

Cute! I'm not sure if I agree with the statement though : ) I love it when people find perfect cards for me (that usually deal with nutrition and exercise).

Husband is bringing me roasted vegetables for lunch (my favorite!) and then we're going to dinner tonight here. I love EVERYTHING on the menu, so I have no idea how I will decide. I want the Roasted Pumpkin Soup and the Flatbread with Pesto and Goat's Cheese. And the Pumpkin Seed Crusted Goat Cheese Salad, and a cheese platter.

And I think I have to get this because of the spaghetti squash!

Australian Sea Bass
Pan-seared and served with herbed spaghetti squash tossed in a ginger brown butter
and crisp snow peas.
