Stitches Are Gone!

The cut opens slightly when I bend my finger. Ewww. It's doesn't hurt, but I don't want to put ANY pressure on it in fear it opens again! Doctor said it looked like it did go through the other side. YIKES! Getting the stitches out wouldn't have hurt except that he felt the need to use the most ginormous medical scissors that he could find so that he had to pull each stitch in the air to violently snip them!! Had I done it myself I would have used these tiny Swiss Army scissors and it would have been painless!

Lunch:

Turkey, cranberry, romaine, and swiss sandwich on my new sprouted bread. It was kind of disappointing. I think I needed more cranberry, no lettuce, and no cheese - I didn't taste the cheese AT ALL!!! WHAT A WASTE!

Roasted veggies over spaghetti squash ( I wanted moreeeeeeeee!)

Apple Pie Yogurt (didn't hold a candle to plain with cranberry sauce)

And raspberries and pom. (They were a little dry :( I missed my kiwi!)

All together for a whopping 600 calories. Geez! And I'm still a little hungry (or at least fullness hasn't set it and I wish it would NOW!)

In other news, I made it until 12:45 to eat -GO OATMEAL!!! I got hungry at the doctor's office but when distracted the hunger went away. Good observation. I did have a hot tea at 11:00 wtih 2 oz soymilk:

Didn't get in a walk and had a low-burn workout today, so I don't get to indulge today :( Maybe I can get a walk in before dinner - if it's not DARK out!

Yay for your stitches out! I can't believe the knife went through your finger! Eek! I hate when I have cheese or some other food that I can't even taste...I've been more aware of that to try and cut out unnecessary calories when I can. Hope you have a good afternoon/evening and get your walk in later. -Meggers
